1. What is the WaterTrail system?

The WaterTrail is Ebac’s unique, patented design of water reservoir which gives all Ebac watercoolers their real-world superior performance and benefits to distributors and users over conventional watercoolers. The WaterTrail provides a unique selling point for HOD companies when trying to win new customers, and provides on-going operational benefits. The main features and benefits of the WaterTrail system are:

 

Totally sealed system:

• Superior hygiene by keeping out airborne contamination - safety for users and a great selling point
• Protection from leaks caused by cracks and pin holes in water bottles - no complaints and compensation claims for damaged floors
• Manifold drain which stops the build-up of stale water from leaky bottle caps and - safety for users and a great selling point

 

WaterTrail remains full when bottle is emptied:

• Chilled and hot water is available immediately a new water bottle is fitted onto the cooler. Conventional coolers require chill down time (and heat up time for hot water) after water bottle is emptied and replaced before cold and hot water is available

 

2. Is the WaterTrail system an added cost to my business?

The cost of the WaterTrail is an investment in developing revenue for sanitisations and reduces the labour cost of dismantling and chemically cleaning conventional coolers and maintaining a stock of spare coolers for field replacement coolers. It is also a key sales point to give you an advantage over conventional coolers.

 

3. How often does the WaterTrail require changing?

The EBWA Code of Practice, which Ebac supports, stipulates a minimum of 2 sanitisations per annum, and recommends 4 changes per annum. Ebac is working with AgIon Corporation to develop a long-life watertrail which actively reduces inhibits bacteria growth and hence the build-up of biofilm. This is especially useful in locations such as hospitals, care homes, doctors’ surgeries, as well as countries where water hygiene may be more of an issue then Europe.

 

4. What is the minimum number of coolers I have to buy?

We have no minimum order quantity. We normally ship in pallet quantities, but can mix type and colours in shipments to let you have exactly what coolers to the exact specification you need.

 

5. Why are Ebac coolers more expensive than Chinese or Korean units?

Simply because of the quality of our components and raw materials, and the product design which incorporates unique features and ensures long life.

 

6. How long can I expect an Ebac cooler to last?

The minimum life expectancy of our coolers is 5 years, which is what we guarantee the compressor life, but we have many customers with coolers in the field for over 8 years.

 

7. What payment terms can Ebac offer to help me grow my business?

We have a wide range of payment schemes, with extended payment options from 12 months to 36 months, including payment holidays. With payments extended out over 1, 2 or 3 years, cash flow improvements enable you to grow your business much quicker than otherwise possible.

 

8. What warranty do I get with Ebac coolers?

With our compressor coolers, we give an unlimited one year warranty, plus an additional 4 years for the compressor and chilling circuit. Our stainless steel hot tanks are guaranteed for 2 years, and the SlimCool carries a 2 year warranty.

 

9. What is the standard delivery time?

Our standard delivery lead time is 1-2 weeks, but if the order is forecast we can often deliver within 2 days.

 

10. Can I have coolers in different colours?

Yes. All out coolers are available in a variety of colours, and we can also provide custom colour combinations if required.
